Meditation Garden Entry
The land conditions at Rapids Cemetery revealed the opportunity for unique showcasing. The stately columns of trees plus the gently sloping surface inspired the creation of a meditation garden.
In 2017, the new lawn surface succeeded in restoring a walkable area. The background reveals the successful installation of a meditation garden by a scout troop during the previous October. However, wild vines and unwanted vegetation returned and needed to be controlled.
The efforts to control wild vines and vegetation succeeded with a healthy meditation garden and lawn area for walking.
